The inaugural annual Fitness New York Awards, founded by Carrie Brudner, honored nine leaders in the health, wellness and fitness industries, presented by Dr. Alex Eingorn. The event was well-attended by family and friends of honorees plus celebrity guests who took part in a lively red carpet and step-and-repeat displayed by event sponsors at 80 Washington Place in New York City.

Each of the honorees are eminent in their respective fields and have successfully maintained or developed respected brands and amassed many A-list followers to match their high-profile clientele. Applauding their efforts, high-level colleagues and celebrity clients attended in support of the honorees.

Honoree Carlos Leon wins Best Male Celebrity Trainer at the Fitness New York Awards

Carlos Leon, Best Male Celebrity Trainer: The co-founder of Belleon Body, is a celebrity trainer and actor of stage and screen. He and Grammy® award-winning singer Madonna are the parents of Lourdes Leon, and his family was in attendance to support his recent achievement. Ryan Seacrest and Adrian Grenier are among Leon’s celebrity clients.

Ana Kaiser wins Best Female Celebrity Trainer

Ann Kaiser, Best Female Celebrity Trainer: The Founder of AKT, counts Kelly Ripa, Shakira, Hillary Duff and Sarah Jessica Parker, and others, among her loyal clientele. AKT has studios in NYC, the Hamptons, Connecticut, and Los Angeles.

Toper DesPrés wins Best Fitness Visionary
