Burbank, CA (The Hollywood Times) 11/18/2018 – The delight of every holiday season is a great Lifetime movie that takes us on a new journey to unexpected romance. A Christmas Arrangement held it’s red carpet screening on November 14th in Burbank, CA at the Garry Marshall Theater to a packed house.
The movie is positioned as the ‘It’s a Wonderful Lifetime’ Christmas lineup kick off – Wednesday, November 21st at 10/9c on Lifetime.

This spirited story is perfect for warm blankets on the couch while sipping a favorite, hot winter drink. Set in the quaint town of Santa Mesa, struggling florist, Poppy Benson (Nicky Whelan) decides to enter the annual holiday floral show and soon learns that this competitive world is a big deal. As a matter of fact, the reigning champs, Blair Covington (Daphne Zuniga), queen florist, along with her underappreciated protege, Garrett Hurley (Miles Fisher) are a celebrated and competent team who are not the ones to easily give up bragging rights. Although Poppy and Garrett share a common passion, the holiday competition presents forbidden territory for the both of them.
All of the competitors must bring their A-game and stay focused on the prize. With the blossoming of flowers, business choices, and romantic feelings, Poppy and Garrett find themselves in uncharted territory.
This holiday film is a Ninth House production. Celebrity guests in attendance included notable Hollywood talent: Nicky Whelan (Hall Pass), Daphne Zuniga (Melrose Place), Miles Fisher (Mad Men), Tia Carrere (Wayne’s World, AJ and the Queen), JC Chasez (NSync), Carly Craig (Sideswiped, and American Housewife), Amanda Grace Benitez (The Ranger), Catherine Bailess (Hit The Floor), James Maslow (Big Time Rush), Clayton Chitty (Power Rangers), Krystal Ellsworth (Now You See Me 2), Chole Catherine Kim (Outlaws and Angels), Kate Neilson, Julie McNiven, Leslie Easterbrook, Craig Stepp, John D. Hickman, Lexi Giovagnoli, and more. Producer, Autumn Federici; director, Jake Helgren; and co-writers Alison Spuck McNeeley and Casie Tabanou gave opening comments before the screening.
On the red carpet, Whelan shared that “this was a wonderful holiday movie and we had such a great cast and crew to work with… I loved it”. Zuniga explained that “it was a really sweet story, a romantic comedy… It touches your heart on a personal level”. Fisher reflected, saying that “it’s just a lovely story… This movie is so refreshing, especially during the holidays”. Federici proclaimed that “everybody’s so happy… It was beautiful and a great experience.” McNeeley and Tabanou, shared that they “grew up together and always loved holiday movies… It’s a wonderful way for families to join and watch something uplifting together.” Helgren expressed that “it was a lot of fun… We had the best cast, the best crew, and wow, knowing that there’s no one else I would’ve rather spent this time with, being exhausted and tired with, and then knowing that we’re just happy — that’s the best moment for me.
A stunning and breathtaking floral arrangement by Empty Vase Florist, based in West Hollywood, CA , complemented the celebs along their carpet stroll in the spirit of the holiday season. Then, guests were invited to enjoy a festive cocktail party featuring Seagrams Escapes signature cocktails ‘Jamaican Me Merry’, caramel crunch popcorn from Popcornoplis, Christmas themed cake pops from Lady Fortune and Gift bags filled with goodies, including holiday lip gloss from NYX and Gibs Baby Brawler hairspray.
A Christmas Arrangement is a clever, romantic story, sprinkled with refreshing humor. It elevates the conversation about love and competition, cast in an adorable light. A Christmas Arrangement premieres Wednesday, November 21st at 10/9c on Lifetime.
