ABC’s ‘The Bachelor: The Women Tell All’ Spikes by 45% Year to Year & ABC’s ‘The Rookie’ Jumps 33% in Adults 18-49 to Tie Its 2nd-Highest-Ever Rating
ABC Tuesday Prime Time (8:00-11:00 p.m. – 5.5 million and 1.3/6 in AD18-49):
Featuring “The Bachelor: The Women Tell All” and “The Rookie,” ABC nearly caught perennial Tuesday leader NBC in Adults 18-49 (1.3/6 vs. 1.5/7), while winning prime time by 33% in Adults 18-34 over NBC’s lineup (1.2/7 vs. 0.9/6 for “The Voice”/”This Is Us”/”New Amsterdam”). Running neck-and-neck with “The Voice” (1.8/8) and “This Is Us” (1.7/7) for the top show of the night, ABC’s “Women Tell All” ranked as Monday’s No. 3 TV show in Adults 18-49 (1.6/7). The Bachelor special was the night’s definitive No. 1 TV show in Adults 18-34 by a margin of 36% over runner-up “This Is Us” (1.5/9 vs. 1.1/6).
- ABC scored a new season high with series programming on Tuesday in Adults 18-49.
- Airing from 8:00-10:00 p.m. against NBC’s “The Voice” and “This Is Us,” ABC’s “The Bachelor: The Women Tell All” shot up from its year-ago telecast (on 2/25/18) by 40% in Total Viewers (6.0 million vs. 4.3 million) and by 45% in Adults 18-49 (1.6/7 vs. 1.1/4).
- At 10:00 p.m., ABC’s “The Rookie” grew by double digits week to week in Total Viewers (+15% – 4.5 million vs. 3.9 million) and Adults 18-49 (+33% – 0.8/4 vs. 0.6/3), scoring its most-watched telecast since October (since 10/13/18) and tying the series’ 2nd-highest-ever young adult number.
