Yolanda Adams And Kristin Chenoweth To Be Honored At 2019 GRAMMYs on the Hill Awards
On April 9, the Recording Academy will unite the worlds of music and politics at the annual GRAMMYs on the Hill Awards.
The Awards will honor four-time GRAMMY-winning gospel artist Yolanda Adams for her advocacy on behalf of fellow creators and Tony- and Emmy Award-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth for her philanthropic contributions to the music community. Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) will also be honored for their contributions to advance music creators’ rights and support legislation that protects the future of music.

Lori Stokes to Emcee the Campaign for Female Education’s Gala
The Campaign for Female Education (CAMFED) today announced that Lori Stokes, the award-winning co-host of Good Day New York, will serve as emcee of the organization’s first-ever New York Gala.
The “Education Changes Everything” Gala will take place on May 9th at 583 Park Avenue. CAMFED, an international nonprofit eradicating poverty in sub-Saharan Africa through education, is celebrating 25 years of empowering girls and advancing women’s leadership.
