With its “Summer Fun & Games” lineup returning in its entirety on the night for the first time in three weeks, ABC won Sunday by 40% in Adults 18-49 over runner-up CBS with the time-period premiere of “Big Brother” leading into its premiere of the drama “Instinct” (0.7/4 vs. 0.5/3).
- Spiking over its repeat “America’s Funniest Home Videos” lead-in by 1.0 million viewers at 8:00 p.m., ABC’s “Celebrity Family Feud” returned for its first telecast in three weeks and topped CBS’ time-slot premiere of CBS’ “Big Brother” to win the hour in Total Viewers (+9% – 4.9 million vs. 4.5 million) and rank as Sunday’s most-watched entertainment program. “CFF” ran a strong 2nd in the hour with Adults 18-49 (0.8/4) and ranked as Sunday’s No. 2 TV show.
- At 9:00 p.m., ABC’s “The $100,000 Pyramid” won its hour and grew over its last telecast two weeks ago by 35% in Total Viewers (4.6 million vs. 3.4 million) and by 17% in Adults 18-49 (0.7/4 vs. 0.6/3). In the hour, ABC’s “$100,000 Pyramid” dominated CBS’ premiere of “Instinct” (3.6 million and 0.3/1), leading by 1.0 million viewers and more than doubling it among Adults 18-49 (+133%).
- At 10:00 p.m., ABC’s “To Tell the Tuth” topped its hour and rose over its last telecast two weeks ago by 17% in Total Viewers (4.1 million vs. 3.5 million) and by 17% in Adults 18-49 (0.7/4 vs. 0.6/3).
