Beverly Hills, CA (The Hollywood Times) 1/19/20 – National Geographic has re-imagined its mind-bending program BRAIN GAMES and added an all-new Hollywood twist!  The new season scheduled to air on Monday, January 20th, 2020 at 8/7c will challenge some of the world’s biggest celebrities to realize how their brains work through highly entertaining games that reveal the WHY beneath the WOW.  Celebrity guests are to include Jack Black, Mark Cuban, Ted Danson, and many more!

Courteney Monroe spoke with new BRAIN GAMES host Keegan-Michael Key via satellite from London at a National Geographic Channel panel which took place on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019 during the Summer TCA Press Tours taking place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.  Key was best known as a comedian before accepting this life-changing offer and now enjoys performing in front of a live studio audience that visitors to Hollywood might want to join.  Hosting BRAIN GAMES was one of the “fastest yeses” of his media career thanks to his fascination with psychology and neuroscience.

Even adults might find some of the “brain games” daunting on this super popular science show targeted at children.  “There were times when, frankly, I was happy just to be the host!” confessed Keegan-Michael Key.  This comedian’s ability to detach and see the humor in difficult situations has served him well in his new role.

In the season premiere of BRAIN GAMES, spouses Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard will go head to head with a series of tasks designed to find out how men’s and women’s brains differ.  Challenges will include stocking items in a refrigerator, communicating the details of a model’s outfit, and solving a math puzzle.  Be sure to tune in to the National Geographic Channel on January 20th to see this cerebral Battle of the Sexes for yourselves!
