Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 4/9/21 – On April 8, 2021, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) held its 32nd Annual Media Awards. In line with its commitment to promote positive LGBTQ representation on screen, GLAAD presented awards in the following categories: film, documentary, comedy series, music artist, drama series, reality program, children’s programming, and talk show episodes. Here are the winners for each category.

Sam Smith was recognized for the Outstanding Music Artist category

Disclosure was recognized for Outstanding Documentary

Schitt’s Creek was recognized for Outstanding Comedy Series

Star Trek Discovery  was recognized for Outstanding Drama Series

Happiest Season was recognized for Outstanding Film – Wide Release

The Boys in the Band was recognized for Outstanding Film – Limited Release

We’re Here was recognized for Outstanding Reality Program

The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo was recognized for Outstanding Children’s Programming

“Lilly Responds to Comments About Her Sexuality,” (a segment from A Little Late With Little Singh) was recognized for Outstanding Variety or Talk Show Episode
