LOS ANGELES, CA – Following teases on social media and excitement building from music fans up and down the West Coast this week, Insomniac has announced today that multi GRAMMY Award-nominated musician Kaskade will perform at Los Angeles’ brand-new SoFi Stadium on Saturday, July 17. Insomniac, the producer behind the world’s largest dance music festivals, has teamed up with Kaskade and SoFi Stadium to celebrate the remarkable return of live music to Los Angeles, which will be the first dance music event in the stadium’s history. Bringing an unparalleled production complete with an immersive audiovisual experience, this unprecedented event will be the largest solo headlining show in LA of the dance music pioneer’s career.
“Every time I play in Los Angeles, it evokes this feeling that is unmatched anywhere else in the world. It’s that sensation of getting into your own bed after being away for too long, its heat in the cold, and its comfort when anxiety has been playing its game. Any show I play in LA is something I keep protected. I make sure that when I do it, I come correct because it’s that meaningful to me. LA is home,” says Kaskade. “Coming out of quarantine, I really want to do something special for the west coast massive as well as all my fans who are willing to put the time into travel. It needs to be just right. There is a legacy I’ve been building here with LACC, Sun Soaked, Staples Center and so many of my other favorite shows. I believe that being one of the first artists to introduce SoFi Stadium to the public is a rare and awesome opportunity and this show is going to be a career-high for me. I’m excited to share this with my audience and I’m honored to do this in LA, my home.”
Fans can register now at www.kaskademusic.com for first access to the ticket presale, which begins Wednesday, June 9 at 10 a.m. PT. The general ticket on-sale will begin Friday, June 11 at 10 a.m. PT. SoFi Stadium’s standard safety and attendance protocols can be found online at www.sofistadium.com. More detailed guidelines will be released, as needed, closer to the event date in July.

About Kaskade
As a household name in electronic music for over two decades, Multi GRAMMY Award-nominated musician Kaskade needs no introduction. His list of achievements is a mile long: 12 studio albums, 7 GRAMMY nominations, the first solo electronic dance artist to sell out both Navy Pier in Chicago and the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the first DJ to ever secure a Las Vegas residency, the only DJ to have played the Grand Canyon West Skywalk, the only musician to conceptualize and create an entire season of music for video game giant Rocket League, headlining multiple live streams during quarantine, a Fortnite feature concert, and the first electronic artist to ever headline Coachella.
Less tangible but even more important has been his influence on dance music tastes and culture for generations of listeners. Often Kaskade is one of the artists who introduced now-veteran listeners to the genre, and such fans typically become evangelical fans for life. In 2019, he worked with multi-award winner Meghan Trainor on “With You”, Cheat Codes “Be the One” and Gorgon City on “Go Slow,” and official remixes for the likes of Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, and Gwen Stefani earlier. In 2020 Kaskade leaned into the mandatory time off from touring by releasing the most consecutive music, back-to-back of his career. Stay tuned for more moves from the original curve bender, Kaskade.
