Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 2/6/22 – We have seen the tweets, Instagram posts, and other teasers online, now Power Universe fans can tune in tonight for what is arguably the most anticipated Power Spinoff, featuring Joseph Sikora as fan-favorite Tommy Eagan.

Power Book IV: Force follows Tommy to Chicago with the intention of Los Angeles being his final destination. With the loss of his friends and the love of his life, Tommy made the tough decision to leave New York, the only place he has ever known. During Tommy’s detour in Chicago, he discovers some family secrets he thought were buried long ago. Tommy also gets tied in with Walter Flynn (Tommy Flanagan), one of the most prominent players in Chicago who happens to be the head of the Irish crime family. Now he must resolve these issues and navigate his way through Chicago’s drug game. Will Tommy become Chicago’s next Al Capone? Will he make it out alive?

During the TCA Virtual panel discussion Sikora describes Tommy’s character in the series as; “A bull in a China shop, but now that he’s in unfamiliar territory and surrounded by new players in Chicago he’s got a lot to sort through. “It’s always fun to play the bull when the bull isn’t sorry for knocking over the China. He is very unapologetic in that way, but it is the new environment. And so, if Tommy was at a different part in the Power world and he just was going to always leap first and think later, he might not make it through the city of Chicago. But because he is in survival mode, Tommy’s a wolf that gets caught in a trap in Chicago, but he is going to chew off his arm to survive. That is just who this character is.”

When asked if fans can expect Tommy’s past to catch up with him executive Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson replied, “it’s almost caught up to him in the past and a life in the fast lane in Chicago is dangerous. For most people, when you get involved, they will tell you are going to be dead or in jail. Those are the outcomes that happen, and when you come into a whole new town and you are feeling your way around it, the things you go through make you who you are. That experience he is coming from is creating his temperament as soon as he gets there.”

The show will also feature eight new characters, Lili Simmons (Banshee, Ray Donovan), Gabrielle Ryan (The Haves and the Have Nots, Bonding), Isaac Keys (Get Shorty, The Oath), Hightown alum Shane Harper, Kris D. Lofton (Ballers, Empire), Anthony Fleming III (Prison Break, The Beast), Lucien Cambric (Chicago P.D., The Chi) and Tommy Flanagan (Sons of Anarchy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2).
