Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 4/12/22 – ClexaCon is an annual event that gives diverse groups of LGBTQ+ fans and content creators a chance to network and build community. Their events connect filmmakers, actors, and industry professionals, while the panels and workshops connect creators from around the world with their fans. ClexaCon’s number one objective is to aid in producing and distributing positive LGBTQ+ content and providing educational resources to aid in the push for improved visibility in media, encouraging more LGBTQ+ women to participate in creating their own narratives.
Over the weekend THT had the chance to experience ClexaCon’s Virtual Mini Con. The panel included Amalia Holm (Motherland: Fort Salem), Bethany Brown (The 100, Charmed), Bridget Regan (Batwoman, Jane the Virgin, Legend of the Seeker), Janina Gavankar (The L Word, True Blood, Big Sky), Toya Turner (Warrior Nun), with a virtual performance by Queerly Beloved Revue.
If you missed it, you can still grab a streaming pass and access all panels until 4/24 via clexacon.com .
