Quote from GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis:
“Ryan Murphy’s glorious acceptance speech at the Golden Globes tonight inspired all of us working for a more diverse and equitable industry and should be a sign of what is possible for young LGBTQ talent and creatives. The LGBTQ artists who he applauded tonight, along with so many others who have worked on or appeared in his projects, are truly changing the industry. With a persistent dedication to spotlighting marginalized and diverse stories in the most powerful ways, Ryan Murphy ushered in a new age of LGBTQ storytelling and is so very deserving of the Carol Burnett Award.”
