Actor Eva Longoria sat down with Hoda Kotb as a part of NBC’s 2023 Inspiration List where she opened up about her mission to help other Latinas “reach their full potential.”
“That’s a big idea,” Longoria told Kotb. “Just telling people you believe in their potential is huge.”
“Language is really an entryway into understanding a culture in its entirety. So I just had this sudden urge to like: I need to speak Spanish. I need to speak Spanish. And I was 40 when I started,” she said.
Inspiring America: The 2023 Inspiration List airs Saturday, June 10 at 8pm ET on NBC.
