Texas-based singer-songwriter Carrington MacDuffie releases her new video of her indie-rock single, Rebel In The House Of Love. This rousing anthem to freedom by a daughter of the Revolution features heavy metal riffs paired with a distinct and textured vocal up front, making for another undeniably cool hybrid from Carrington’s active musical imagination.

Riffing on the madness of the past few years, the lyric emerges in a fast-running stream from a sharp mind and an uncompromisingly fierce independent spirit, American style.  The passion of all three artists comes through in the explosively hooky drum loop, the growling vocal, the grinding skittering guitar.

“I’m often referred to as a free spirit,” Carrington says, “and that’s accurate, but it’s not all floating fairy music.  There are times when a true free spirit holds her ground and does not yield.”

It’s over 5,000 views since the posting yesterday, and the The Hollywood Times is proud to be featuring it for you all today just in time for the 4th of July.  Beautiful nature and patriotic footage.
