Easterseals Camp is celebrating its 45th anniversary – a summer camp that makes this beloved tradition accessible to everyone, regardless of physical or developmental challenges.

Easterseals Camp is currently runnig from August 5-11 and the makeovers/dance is Thursday the 9th.

For one week each summer, Easterseals Southern California has held a fully-accessible camp in the San Bernardino Mountains at BIG BEAR’S CAMP OAKES, which gives 150 people with disabilities the opportunity to swim, canoe, boat, zipline, tube slide, put on plays, sit around the campfire and experience the joys of summer.

This year for the second time, prior to the annual dance (Thurs., August 9), CVS Health is bringing in a team of 28 beauty advisors (the event was so successful that it’s double last year’s team) who are volunteering their time to do makeovers for the campers prior to the big event. This year, they’re also doing hair!

The makeovers are taking place 2-4 p.m., with the dance immediately following.
