We’re just a weekend away from the Red Dress/Dress Red Party for the LGBTQ Center. I have most of my outfit together, sans the red bra. That’s coming courtesy of my fashionista neighbor, who’s procuring it from WalMart for me Do you have your look together?

You can take a free tour showcasing artists’ studios of the Coachella Valley Saturday & Sunday March 12 & 13 (and again next weekend, March 19 & 20). From La Quinta to Desert Hot Springs and all cities in between, you choose the artists and the places you want to visit by region or by style of art. The route is up to you. Interact with artists, observe their processes, purchase artwork, participate in demonstrations and explore spaces not usually open to outsiders! Hours are 10 am–4 pm on Saturday, Noon–4 pm on Sunday. More info

The largest international tennis tournament outside of the four Grand Slams kicked off Monday, March 7 and continues through Sunday, March 20 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
