Comedy Night at The Ford and our
Trans, Nonbinary & Intersex Summit
Saturday, July 23 at #OutfestLA

The last weekend of the 2022 Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ Film Festival is here with a powerful slate of films and events! Today we return to the Directors Guild of America and have our last night at The Ford.

Get ready to laugh with a showcase of unbridled queer joy on our final night at The Ford! I Have to Laugh: Comedy Night at the Ford starts with a stand-up showcase featuring the cast of Queer RiotMargaret Cho, River Butcher, Brad Loekle, Akeem Woods, and Daniel Webb followed by eight comedy shorts!

Join Outfest for an afternoon of storytelling, dialogue and laughter at the 6th Annual Outfest Los Angeles Trans, Nonbinary & Intersex Summit! This year’s Summit is a time-capsule titled Manifesting Our Future – a call to action to imagine ourselves 50 to 100 years into the future and to leave behind a record of our stories.

The Summit will feature four back to back programs including a keynote by Black transgender activist, award-winning writer, and media strategist Raquel Willis. Then, stay for two filmmaker perspectives on the trans anti-hero narrative and abortion access for trans people, a conversation about intersex representation with River Gallo and Pidgeon Pagonis and a trans comedy showcase.

Also, check out Ancient Futures, a three part mixed media project celebrating trans life, beauty and resilience, in the DGA Lobby. Created by trans artist Lio Mehiel who will share more about this installation at the Summit.
