Yesterday, Saturday, September 17, Life is Beautiful carried on for the second day of fun and excitement in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas. Day two of the festival was filled with high-energy headliners, breathtaking art, dance parties, comedy and a sense of community found only at the Life is Beautiful festival.

The star-studded Downtown Stage was packed with fans for headlining performances by Gorillaz, Isaiah Rashad, and a flashback from the 2017 lineup, Lorde, who returned to the festival with an equally powerful performance. Popular artists like Alessia Cara, Gryffin and Kygo took over the BACARDÍ® Stage, and the Fremont Stage saw a full day of performances by EDM icons, like Marc Rebillet, Phantoms and Mochakk, in addition to famed female rap star, Coi Leray. Today’s lineup at the Huntridge Stage offered a wide range of acts, featuring artists like the hyper-pop duo, 100 Gecs, British rapper, Slowthai, indie artist, Neil Frances and more. Local Las Vegas acts like Decaying Tigers and Jae Douglass, joined the lineup at the Rising Stars Stage, where Life is Beautiful has partnered with Sessions Live to showcase new and emerging talent.

CASA BACARDÍ, presented by BACARDÍ Rum, welcomed headlining artist and famed Puerto Rican singer and rapper, Farruko, to the stage. Fans flocked to CASA BACARDÍ to see Farruko perform his greatest hits, like “Pepas” and “Relacion.”

The Blue Man Group made a few surprise appearances around the festival. They popped up during Alessia Cara’s performance on the BACARDÍ® Stage, as well as near the end of Marc Rebillet’s set on the Fremont Stage. The Blue Man Group brought their signature mix of stoic looks, zany humor and, of course, music to their appearances at Life is Beautiful, adding in an extra element of fun and entertainment for festivalgoers.

Laughter echoed out of The Kicker Comedy Club as fans gathered to see their favorite comedians, including Joel Kim Booster, Ricky Velez, and Jordan Rock. The Butterboy trio, featuring real life friends and comedians, Aparna Nancherla, Maeve Higgins and Jo Firestone, also hit the Kicker’s stage today and slayed the crowd with their quick wit.

Life is Beautiful holds a credo of leaving Downtown better than it was found. In addition to many beautification and cleanup efforts, the festival also dedicated time and effort to helping members of the community. Today, as a part of the festival’s “Feed Our Community” event, Life is Beautiful gave out free meals to community members in need. Life is Beautiful offered free shuttles to and from the festival grounds from a local Three-Square location and distributed a total of 300 meals to people in need.

A fan-favorite moment of the day was the interactive McDonald’s ‘Golden Access’ experience with an exclusive appearance from featured artist and McDonald’s fan Coi Leray. Lucky fans won the chance to meet Coi Leray at the McDonald’s ‘Golden Access’ VIP Suite and received all-access treatment with additional prizes.

For fans who couldn’t make it to the festival, the musical performances were streamed live on Life is Beautiful’s Twitch channel. The festival will be live streamed on Twitch throughout the weekend, so fans can catch all of the action.

Life is Beautiful will conclude tomorrow, Sunday, September 18, with epic headlining performances by Jack Harlow, Calvin Harris, Beach House and more.
